It's Time to Put the Soul Back in Organizational Life
Instead of empowering us, workplaces often drain us of our vitality and soul. As a result, we crave more meaning and fulfillment, knowing we are using our talents to make an impact on the world. The pandemic has given everyone a chance to reflect on what is really important, what we have been tolerating and our deep desires to make our time at work as meaningful and impactful as possible. experiencing a sense of urgency to reconnect to our humanity -- body, mind and spirit -- and to lead purpose-driven lives in and outside of work.
My mission is to help awaken the authentic leader in each individual, thereby transforming the nature of work and our workplaces. The prevailing work culture has blocked us from seeing our true selves and discouraged us from standing up, speaking out, and leveraging our talents in a more meaningful way. We have let our souls' paths be compromised; as a result, we have refrained from speaking and acting on what we know is true and what we know is right. As a society, we have denied or chosen to ignore the negative impact of our “standard operating procedures” in organizational life, thereby failing to realize our individual and collective potential.
There is a cure for the great resignation. It is time to reconnect to the Soul of Work.
